We have permission to be annoying…

This video was posted by The Onion and I know they are trying to make fun of us Lost fans, but I personally love it.

I suppose we can get a little annoying with our theorizing and detailed play-by-plays but our friends just need to hang in there for another season.  I’m just glad that society is becoming more aware and understanding of our Lost obsession.

What I’m confused about is whether or not the “news” given is actually real.  Will we really get to see Ben on another island in a different time period?  Do we really have to do some crazy math puzzle to figure out who’s eye that is?

The Onion definitely didn’t hurt our feelings with this fake newscast, instead they just fueled more questions.  And they have given us permission to be annoying!

Ajira Airways: Destination Destiny

October 16, 2009

By Annie

Ajira Airways seems to be taking a page from John Locke’s book of destiny.

The site, which you can view here, is full of Lost references (and hopefully some clues?).  I’d pay special attention to the video on the home page. You know, the one that ends with “Namaste.”

Here’s an excerpt from the “Destination Destiny” page.

“NOT SURE WHERE TO GO? Get lost in the wild wonder of the world and let time and space have no consequence. For $87 you’ll be whisked away to an unknown fateful destination of your destiny. China to Chicago, step aboard the grandest grab bag around. Upon arrival a brave new world will unfold right before your eyes. Pack light and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime as you experience the sensational world around us – only with Ajira Airlines’ DESTINATION: DESTINY.”

There’s also a section called “Ajira Adventures.” What’s included? An Australian Walkabout, Polar Adventure, Island Adventures, Swimming with Sharks, and Excavation: Ruins.

There’s so much to explore on the site. One last observation: “The skies have no limit with our new destinations beginning January 21st.” Do we have a start date? One can only hope.
